Boulder City, Nevada, is the only city in Nevada without gaming. It is located 20 miles from Las Vegas. The friendly atmosphere and quaint community has a lot to offer. The community of Boulder City has historic charm and is home to the states number one tourist attraction, Hoover Dam. There are many large events that Boulder City hosts every year that Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada residents attend. Art in the Park and Spring Jamboree are two of the largest events in Boulder City. Those two events draw nearly 100,000 guests to the Historic District.
The recreational opportunities have put Boulder City on the International map. Bootleg Canyon is world renowned for its amazing and extreme mountain biking. Bootleg Canyon has an exciting zip line which soars visitors over the scenic views of Bootleg Canyon and Hemenway Valley. While sailing through the air on the zip line, you may spot many Big Horn Sheep lying on the cool grass of Hemenway Park.
