Passenger counts increased for the 2nd straight month in February, while Las Vegas based Allegiant
airline continued it's double-digit growth in passenger traffic.

According to figures released by the Department of Aviation, 3,108,106 passsengers passed through the
airport in February, an increase of 6.6 percent from last February.

The February increase benefited from an extra business day because of Leap year, so the actual increase was
about 3 percent.

While Southwest sister, AirTran, U.S. Air and United Air posted slight declines for the month, Virgin Air
and JetBlue reported a double-digit percentage growth.

Spirit Air continued it's growth at McCarran carrying 130,606 passengers, a 407.1 percent increase over
February 2011.

International passengers reported a 20.2 percent growth increase from 2011, with 173,527 passengers.

Seven international carriiers, Aero-Mexico, British Air, Korean Air, Virgin-Atlantic, VivaAerobus, Volaris,
and WestJet Air reported double-digit increases.
